Jake skids to a stop, taking a second to fire at the tendril a couple times before slipping through the door.

"It's not far! It's near one of the side doors, just down that way." He nods towards a corridor that leads to one of the openings. "Didn't want to be too far away."

There's a pause before he starts running again. "You don't have the authority to revoke anything!"
