Eliot looks like he's been kicked in the stomach, the blood drains from his face and he can't speak for a moment. When he finally does, he sputters, the sheer disbelief evident in his tone.

"His partner!? You're Moreau's partner!?"

That look looks so wrong on Carter's face. He doesn't get chills easily, but that...that does it.
